I could NOT put this book down! Although this book is one of many dystopian books (Psst, publishing world…I want more dystopian! Don't be so quick to think something is "overdone." Fans of specific genres want more and more and more - and I am no exception.), it stands out from the masses due to its unique writing style and dedication to characterization. I cared about these characters from the onset and found myself craving more upon consumption of the final word. I will definitely purchase book 2 in the series, UNRAVEL ME, and lose myself once again in the world of Juliette, Adam, and Warner. Congratulations to Tahereh Mafi for her creation of this page-turner!

May I simply just say what a comfort to discover somebody that truly understands what they are discussing on the net. You actually realize how to bring a problem to light and make it important. A lot more people must check this out and understand this side of the story. I can't believe you aren't more popular since you most certainly have the gift.

Try to think of all the synonyms that you can associate with amazing, brilliant, extraordinary, phenomenal, spectacular, incredible etc. Now, multiply all of it by twenty and that's definitely the right way on how to explain and put this whole series into a word. This trilogy is absolutely one of my favorite book series of all time. It just blew every single one of my expectations in terms of being in a dystopian, young adult, science-fiction genre. The first book in the trilogy, Shatter Me in particular, has this kind of dark and hopeless feels that perfectly contrast how the pessimistic character of Juliette was really in desperate fear of her own capabilities that made her hate everything about herself. She completely felt dangerous and vulnerable at the same time, to the point that she almost disgust her own existence. But as the series continues, you could really tell how Juliette, as well as the other characters in this novel would develop in so many ways you can't imagine. And please don't even get me started on Warner! Like can we just talk about how, uhm. Nevermind. I would probably end up spoiling everything if I even dare to continue this topic so, going back to this book, I think every single sentence was really poetic and figurative. I almost highlighted an entire page because I was really fascinated how relatable and appealing the words are. It's like a quote that's definitely worth quoting and worth highlighting. I must say, Tahereh Mafi did an impressive job of writing and arranging such beautiful words into a piece of a novel like this and I really like her unique way of playing and messing with the metaphors. This series has definitely grown on me. I could not be happier with the way this story went. Shatter Me trilogy is without a doubt, one of the best dystopian books of all time. It deserved all the attention it got. Well, I could probably rave about this book for hours (can you even tell?) but, one last thing. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who's willing to go on a roller coaster ride of emotions and can even handle a huge amount of mind-blowing plot twists. Wait, did I already mention that there would be a tv series adaptation of this book? Well, it's true and they're still on the process of perfecting it. I'm so stoked to see how this book would finally come to life, but I'm really hoping for the best that it wouldn't disappoint me because you know how book to a movie or t.v. series adaptation sucks for completely altering the whole plot of the book itself. So, cross fingers!
